Statement

I am a Columbus, Ohio artist with an enthusiasm for living history & public art. I work in colored pencil, acrylics, & digital mediums, with a focus on the folk art of pysanky, a uniquely Ukrainian tradition using beeswax & batik dyes to create intricate designs on eggshells utilizing the same techniques & tools that have been in use for centuries

My passion lies in the use of traditional techniques & ancient themes to produce unique pieces that speak to the future while documenting the past and the evolution of the Slavic arts in the global Carpatho-Rusyn diaspora today.

"You are the fairy tale told by your ancestors.”
